Argüden Governance Academy Foundation

The project is aimed to implement the 12 Good Governance principles of the Council of Europe in an integrated and effective manner in municipalities.

Under the coordination of Argüden Governance Academy and in partnership with the Council of Europe, Marmara Municipalities Union, Sultanbeyli, and Şişli Municipalities Integrated Municipality Governance Model project is carried out with the support of the Dutch Consulate. The project is aimed to implement the 12 Good Governance principles of the Council of Europe in an integrated and effective manner in municipalities.

In line with this purpose, a model is being developed based on the legislation and institutional structures of municipalities. With the model developed and activities carried out within the scope of the project, it is anticipated that Sultanbeyli and Şişli Municipalities will receive the European Governance Excellence Brand of the Council of Europe for the first time in our country. This project has great importance in terms of bringing the governance quality of municipalities in our country to a certain standard.
